Here is advice from Eric Worre on how to maintain focus as you tackle your 90 day plan

Have you ever lost a week? You get a little bit of momentum and all of a sudden, you get distracted by this or that. And all of a sudden, the day is gone! Somebody drops by the house, and another day is gone. Someone suggests that you go to the movies, and another day is gone.

That has happened for the whole week for me. I lost the entire week! So, I had to decide to get rid of distractions and be absolutely focused. I encourage you to do the same. Focus each day on what you want to accomplish for the day. Put the blinders on, and if you find yourself mindlessly scrolling through Facebook, stop it! And get back to productive work. If you find yourself distracted here or there by something that isn’t moving you closer to your goals, stop it! And focus specifically on the task that you need to get accomplished for that day. Write down 1, 2, or 3 things that you want to get accomplished that day, and focus completely in order to make it happen.

So many people in Network Marketing allow themselves to get off track, get distracted, and lose days because we have this luxury of having no boss or supervision. But if you lose one day, that is 3% of the month. Three days is 9% of the month that is just gone. You can’t get it back!

So, write down three things you need to accomplish today, and don’t let anything get in your way. Get it done. Make it happen. Focus.

6 Habits That Will Keep You Poor For The Rest Of Your Life

You were born poor, but if you die poor you have yourself to blame. Before you finish reading this article, at least 8 out of 10 people will have done something that contributes to their future poverty. Only 2 out of 10 will have done what is required to remain prosperous in the future. The question you need to ask yourself today is, “I’m I among the lucky 2 or the not-so-lucky 8?”

1.You focus on linear income instead of passive income

Most people focus on linear income in the name of salary, allowances and one-off payments. Wise men on the other hand focus on passive income in the name of royalties, interest rates, value addition and profit.
Relying on linear income is similar to using buckets to fetch water from the river. With time, you’ll get too old and too tired to transport them to and fro and that means you’ll have to starve for as long as you don’t go to the river.
Relying on passive income on the other hand is similar to building a pipeline. It may require a lot of work at the beginning but with time, you’ll no longer have to go to the river to get water – the river will come to you and you’ll not starve.
This is the most fundamental principal of wealth creation that most (including you) are oblivious about.

2.You’re still waiting to start your journey of success

Everyone wants to succeed but very few people are willing to step into the cold waters. Do you see the problem here? In the history of the world, no marathon race has ever been won (or even finished) by someone who never left the starting line.
As you’re stuck saying that you have no enough capital to start, someone else is busy making good use of whatever little they have.
As you’re busy lamenting that there are no business ideas, someone else is busy sharpening his innovation claws.
When you’re busy complaining about a problem in your society, someone else is busy thinking how to start a business that solves that problem.
Continue waiting at the starting line and poverty will soon find you there to keep you company.

3.When you earn more you spend more

Consistently raising your expenditure is a good way to accumulate debt and to remain stuck in the echelons of poverty. To stay out of bad debt, you will either need to find a way to earn more or spend less. The first and best option is to find ways to earn more and keep your expenditure constant.
As you know this can only be done by creating multiple streams of income and lot’s of thinking is necessary in that case.
The second option is to simply cut on unnecessary expenses. The money that is saved from these budget cuts could be used for embarking on future investment programs.

4.You complain instead of committing

“Life is too expensive”; “It’s hopeless; I’ll never get out of debt”; “I don’t earn enough money.” Have you ever uttered any of these statements before, or perhaps all of them? Old habits die hard; however, as long as you do nothing to change; then you and your coming generation have a direct ticket to the land of poverty.
Stop complaining and making lame excuses. Instead, take responsibility for your non-productive habits and focus on changing them – then do it!

5.You live for today, hoping tomorrow will care about its worries

In the 1950s a scientist from Harvard University studied the reasons for upward socio-economic mobility. He wanted to know how comes some generations get wealthier while others get poorer. All his research brought him to a single factor that he concluded was more accurate than any other thing in predicting success – he called it “The Time Pespective”.

Time perspective is basically how far you project into the future when you make a decision today. An example of a long-term perspective is when a wise family man buys land or insurance for their child, even though he or she will not need it for the next eighteen years. This is a long-term approach that involves sacrificing in the short term to assure better outcomes in the long-term.
Most people remain poor because their “time perspective” is focused on short-term goals such as meeting basic lifestyle needs, buying luxury items, paying rent etc…are you one of them?

6.You just don’t get it!

The problem is that you keep learning but you don’t get it. You’re educated but you’ve never internalized what your teachers told you. You have knowledge but you don’t want to think too hard how to use it. You’re still stuck at the starting line all along because you don’t want to start small and grow bit by bit from there. You’re still stuck in the lottery mentality hoping that one day you’ll wake up and voila! discover “the newest, incredibly easiest way to get wealth.”

Final Word

Most people remain poor, not because they don’t have the knowledge. Not because they don’t read business-related books and articles. But because they don’t LEARN BY DOING. They just don’t get it!
Being wealthy and prosperous requires more than just physical ownership. It is a state of happiness, well-being while wishing the same for others. So while you are working to escape from poverty, remember to be happy along the way!

“7 Principles of an Eagle” Author Dr. Myles Munroe

1. Eagles fly alone at a high altitude and do not mix with sparrows or other smaller birds like geese. Birds of a feather flock together. No other bird goes to the height of the eagle. Eagles fly alone. Never in a flock. Even when Moses (Old Testament) went to commune with God on the mountain, he left the crowd at the foothills. Stay away from sparrows and ravens. Eagles fly alone.

2. Eagles have strong vision, which focuses up to 5 kilometres from theair. When an eagle sites prey- even a rodent from this distance, he narrows his focus on it and sets out to get it. No matter the obstacle, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it. Have a vision and remain focused no matter what the obstacle and you will succeed.

3. Eagles do not eat dead things. He feeds on fresh prey. Vultures eat dead animals but not eagles. Steer clear of outdated and old information. Do your research well, always.

4. The Eagle is the only bird that loves the storm. When clouds gather, the eagles get excited. The eagle uses the wings of the storm to rise and is pushed up higher. Once it finds the wing of the storm, the eagle stops flapping and uses the pressure of the raging storm to soar the clouds and glide. This gives the eagle an opportunity to rest its wings. In the meantime all the other birds hide in the leaves and branches of the trees. We can use the storms of our lives (obstacles, trouble, etc) to rise to greater heights. Achievers relish challenges and use them profitably.

5. The Eagle tests before it trusts. When a female eagle meets a male and they want to mate, she flies down to earth with the male pursuing her and she picks a twig. She flies back into the air with the male pursuing her. Once she has reached a height high enough for her, she lets the twig fall to the ground and watches it as it falls. The male chases after the twig. The faster it falls, the faster he chases until he reaches it and has to catch it before it falls to the ground, then bring it back to the female eagle.

The female eagle grabs the twig and flies to a much higher altitude pursued by the male, until she perceives it high enough, and then drops the twig for the male to chase. This goes on for hours, with the height increasing until the female eagle is assured that themale eagle has mastered the art of picking the twig which show scommitment, then and only then, will she allow him to mate with her!Whether in private life or in business, one should test commitment of people intended for partnership.

6. Eagles prepare for training. When about to lay eggs, the female and male eagle identify a place very high on a cliff where no predators can reach; the male flies to earth and picks thorns and lays them on the crevice of the cliff, then flies to earth again to collect twigs which he lays in the intended nest. He flies back to earth picks thorns and lays them on top of the twigs. He flies back to earth and picks soft grass to cover the thorns, and then flies back to pick rugs to put on the grass.

When this first layering is complete, the male eagle runs back to earth and picks more thorns, lays them on the nest; runs back to get grass and rugs and lays them on top of the thorns, then plucks his feathers to complete the nest. The thorns on the outside of the nest protect it from possible intruders. Both male and female eagles participate in raising the eagle family. She lays the eggs and protects them; he builds the nest and hunts. The people who love us do not let us languish in sloth but push us hard to grow and prosper.Even in their seemingly bad actions they have good intentions for us.

7. When the Eagle grows old, his feathers become weak and cannot take him as fast as he should. When he feels weak and about to die, he retires to a place far away in the rocks. While there, he plucks out every feather on his body until he is completely bare. He stays in this hiding place until he has grown new feathers, then he can come out. We occasionally need to shed off old habits & items that burden us add no value to our lives.

There you have my dear reader, strive to be like an eagles and change your life for the better. keep soaring high because down here it is crowded with mediocrity.

*The* *law* *of* *sowing* *and* *reaping* – *Jim* *Rohn*

We all know the parable of the sower in the Bible. He was very ambitious and had excellent seed, just like network marketing where we all have ambitions and excellent products and opportunities.
✔Some seeds fell by the roadside and birds ate them.We often invite invite people to learn how the business is done but sometimes they fail to turn up because someone discouraged them or told them something negative about the business. We have to make a choice to either concentrate on chasing the bird only and leave the field which will distract our future or choose to keep on sowing and you will end up sowing more than the birds can take. If you keep on prospecting U’ll always have guests even after the birds take some.
✔Some seeds fell on rocky grounds and withered in the first hot day.We oftenly have guests who come for the training but fail to join the business. It’s not your fault that they did not join you. Just take it easy, discipline your disappointment and keep on sowing.
✔Some seeds fell on thorny grounds, germinated but the thorns chocked them to death. It’s normal to have people join your team and some of them don’t last long due to distractions. They decide to let little things cheat them out of big opportunities. You did your part in training them and getting them started. It’s not your fault that they did not last because not everyone who will join your team will be as hard-working as you.Don’t get discouraged. Keep on sowing, keep on sharing the story, keep on inviting massively. It will get better with time.
✔Some seeds fell on good grounds and gave great yields. If you keep prospecting and inviting massively your seeds will eventually fall on good grounds and bring result. Some will give 30%,others 60% and others 100%.Don’t worry about the difference just let everyone do their part.

⚫It’s normal to face rejection in the business. Some will call you conmen but don’t worry. There are only 10 real nasty annoying people in the world. They like moving around a lot so if you bump into one you just have to tell him, “There are only 9 more people like you in the world and I can handle that”

Contrary to what you may be thinking now, worriers are not at as much risk of health issues as you may think. There are two categories of worriers;ones who are abusively worried and others who are worried in a healthy way.Thankfully, most of us are on the healthy side.

Associated risks.
-More likely to develop mental health issues and diseases such as depression due to excessive worry.
-Increased stress from habitual worrying can lead to overeating, drinking or other unhealthy habits.
Health Tips
-Make sure you periodically calm and quiten down your mind.Try practising yoga on a daily basis.
-Catch any bad habits and kick them before they take hold.
-If you start to feel down remember to concentrate on the positive things in life.

If you are an extrovert, you love to express yourself in a straight forward manner. You’re likely to be outgoing, social and energized by being around others.
It’s good news health-wise,as studies found that extroverts have stronger immune systems. The number of genes in the white blood cells that trigger inflammation were found to be 17% more active compared to any other personality types. These genes that trigger inflammation will have a great effect on your long-term health.
Associated risks
-Higher blood pressure
-Increased risks of developing cancer.
Health tips
-Limit your late nights, ensure you’re getting enough rest overall.
Restrict junk food and sugar intake as much as possible.
-Increase intake of vitamins and minerals by eating plenty of vegetables (especially leafy greens).
-Boost your intake of antioxidants, try drinking matcha green tea daily.

These are generally more focused on life and always work hard to achieve their aim.If you are sensible and always try to look at things optimistically,it’s more likely that you will take good care of your health. However, conscientious personality types are often overworked and neglect their own health.
Associated risks
-More prone to chronic diseases and digestion related problems.
-Less likely to live a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise.
-Increased stress placed upon self to achieve.
Health tips
-Make your health a priority or a goal to keep you focused.
-Eat foods such as fish, seeds, nuts and green vegetables to maintain a healthy diet.
-Give as much importance to rest time, as to productive time.
-Try meditating for a few minutes daily to remove work related stress.

5 Benefits Of Using Milk On Skin

5 Benefits Of Using Milk On Skin

The secret of radiant and wrinkle-free skin of Cleopatra is historically attributed to milk.  Can this affordable and easily available ingredient work wonders for your skin? Both my research and experience (of using a milk-based cleanser for past 2 years) speaks volume about the extraordinary benefits of milk for skin. Here are the 9 amazing benefits of milk for skin that are either time-tested or science-tested

1: Cleanser and Exfoliator

Wondering how can milk cleanse your skin? Milk has a unique ability to remove the oil-soluble impurities with the help of fat-soluble enzyme lipase, protein based impurities with the help of protease and dead skin cells with lactic acid. Your skin will become smoother and radiant as mine, with the regular use of these milk-based homemade cleansers, I have further customised the recipe for each skin type:

2: Cleanser for Sensitive Skin

Does your skin break out with the regular cleansers? People with sensitive skin often look for a cleanser that can calm their red, irritated skin. Guess what? Milk is just apt for you!

When your skin is irritated, the best option is to leave it alone. Stop all the skincare products.  Massage milk twice daily on your face (non-acne prone skin only) followed by wiping with the wet cotton and pat dry. This not only cleanses but also soothes and moisturizes your irritated skin

3: Milk bath

You can simply add milk to warm water in the bathtub to nourish your skin. Or pamper yourself with a home based spa once in a while! Put oats and rose petals to above milk bath, play relaxing music, and burn some incense sticks to rejuvenate not only your body but also the mind.

4: Hair Conditioner

Did you know that milk can provide nutrients for promoting hair growth? Apply generous amount of buttermilk throughout the length of hair after washing your hair, leave for 5-10 minutes and rinse with warm water.

5: Cold Compresses for Sunburn

When you get sunburn on a holiday, nothing comes in as handy as milk. All you need to do is refrigerate a soft cloth soaked in a bowl of fresh milk and apply this on the sunburnt skin as cold compresses. Milk soothes sunburn with the help of anti-inflammatory, moisturising and skin-repairing properties. However, do not use whole-fat milk or milk cream because its fat content might insulate the sunburn hindering the loss of heat
